Housing Disclosure
The terms of housing explained below must be followed, and there will not be any exceptions.
Royal Python's Cove LLC requires all animals to receive a one time mite treatment before boarding. This treatment costs $15.
By providing an option of Exotic Animal Housing, Royal Python's Cove LLC takes temporary responsibility over an animal to provide:
- a safe enclosure fully equipped with appropriate heating, lighting, and level of humidity specifically for each housed animal
- a feeding schedule for a specific reptile which includes proper diet (+ vitamin supplements if required) and feeding supervision/assistance (if needed)
- assurance that a housed animal will be returned to its owner on a requested date in the same condition it was accepted for housing
Please be aware of certain circumstances and cases Royal Python's Cove LLC cannot be held responsible for:
- rejection of the request to house an animal by an RPC representative caused by: (1) Health conditions that are considered unacceptable (severe physical body/face/cloacae damage which may require veterinary treatment; signs of severe dehydration/underweight which may cause soon death); (2) Present contagious disease(s) or/and mite infestation; (3) If an animal is NOT on our House List (see below)
- death during housing caused by present progressing sickness that RPC was not notified about by an animal owner, in which case RPC is not responsible for loss reimbursement
- failure of an animal owner to arrive on time to pick-up a housed animal. If the an animal owner does not notify RPC about extending the housing period, this will result in a $10.00 of late fee for every day of overstay. Please call our team at 484-343-6550 before your pick-up date to extend your housing period and avoid late fees OR further possible consequences: (1) In case an animal owner fails to show up OR contact our team back within 1 (one) month after Housing Form expiration date (pick-up date), Royal Python's Cove LLC has the right to permanently possess an animal without notifying a customer;(2) By failing to pay any additional fees at pick-up, you automatically pass the right of possession of an animal to Royal Python's Cove LLC.
We want every customer to be aware of certain unforeseen circumstances that, while unlikely, could possibly occur:
- An animal making its way out of a housed enclosure: (1) If our team fails to find a housed animal within 48 hours since found missing, an animal owner will be notified about an accident immediately. (2) An owner of a housed animal that went missing has the right to either get a similar-cost/morph animal as a replacement OR receive a guaranteed reimbursement in the amount of the total paid for the entire time of housing
- An animal not willing to eat its regular food listed by an owner: (1) RPC team has the right to offer a variety of feeders to a housed animal in order to normalize further meal consumption; (2) An animal owner will be requested a permission to switch frozen diet to live or vice versa IF necessary.
